Jeff Harper English, 79 of Taylorsville , died Tuesday,July 17, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville.

He was a Army Veteran. He loved his family, enjoyed horses and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raybon and Mollie English and sister, Murl English Weiss.

Survivors include his wife: Martha Jo English of Taylorsville Daughters: Mary English Owens (Gaylon) of Redwood, MS Kathy English Eason (Allan) of Mize; Elle English Sullivan (Alex) of Taylorsville Brother Burl English Taylorville,MS Sisters Barbara Welborn & Evelyn Watts Laurel,MS Grandchildren: Mandy Eason Black(Troy) of Houston, TX; Carlie Eason Thomas of Mize; Paul Sullivan and Ethan Sullivan, both of Taylorsville; and Bill Owens of Redwood, MS Great-Grandson: Gaylon Owens, III of Redwood, MS
