David Anthony Holifield , 53, of Soso, MS, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel , MS. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Big Creek Cemetery in Big Creek, MS. Mr. Jacob Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery.

David loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife Paula Powell Holifield, Soso, MS; parents, Carroll Thomas and Doreen Holifield, Laurel, MS; son, Cory D.
